Responsibilities
Maintain Network operations, install, configure, update applications, email systems, hardware and software
Optimizing and maintaining network security protocols, secure file transfer protocols and virtual private networks (VPN’s)
Performing routine network audits
Troubleshooting issues with an organization’s Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN) and other network segments
Direct or support the installation, configuration, and integration of operating systems, network, and application software
Oversee ongoing maintenance operations, monitor network performance, and implement necessary upgrades or fixes
Monitor and test network to ensure system availability to all the users and perform necessary maintenance to support operational availability
Provide Tier1- Tier 3 level support to all the network users
Strong understanding of hardware, software, networking, and cloud technologies
Ability to analyze complex problems and evaluate system performance
Effective communication to understand requirements and collaborate with diverse teams
Qualification
Required
Minimum of three years of experience managing and maintaining an operational network
Strong understanding of hardware, software, networking, and cloud technologies
Ability to analyze complex problems and evaluate system performance
Effective communication to understand requirements and collaborate with diverse teams
TS/SCI clearance
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in systems engineering, software engineering, computer science, information technology/systems or equivalent
5-8 years of experience with Network/Systems Administration
Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or other network certification
3+ years of experience with network testing and troubleshooting
