Software Engineering Manager - Consumer Asset Visualization

Responsibilities
Lead technical strategy and execution for cross-platform integration, SDKs, runtimes, and delivery APIs that power Vedo experiences
Build strong partnerships across GM engineering and brand teams to align roadmaps and drive Vedo adoption
Own observability and reliability for CAV integrations end to end, ensuring scalability, compliance, and performance
Collaborate with Security, Privacy, and Brand Marketing to deliver secure, performant, and consistent multi-surface experiences
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers to drive technical excellence and growth
Foster a collaborative, high-performing culture centered on learning and innovation
Strengthen communication and alignment between engineering, product, and design
Identify and implement productivity and process improvements across the development lifecycle
Partner with product and design teams to define and deliver impactful features for creators
Engage with stakeholders to prioritize initiatives that align with strategic goals
Communicate technical trade-offs and insights clearly to leadership
Qualification
Required
7+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2+ years in an engineering management role
Experience building cross-platform client libraries across web, mobile, and embedded environments
Expertise in software architecture, scalability, and performance optimization
Strong understanding of observability, monitoring, and performance profiling in complex systems
Proven ability to mentor engineers, lead technical discussions, and drive team-wide initiatives
Preferred
Proficiency in modern C++, Java, Kotlin or TypeScript/JavaScript, with experience building SDKs or runtimes for multi-platform delivery
Experience with 3D engines or frameworks (Unreal, Unity, WebGL, Three.js, Babylon.js, OpenUSD, Material X or equivalent)
Understanding of graphics pipelines, including materials, shaders, and asset streaming
Proficiency in API design and integration (REST, GraphQL, or gRPC)
Strong knowledge of algorithm design and optimization techniques for high-performance rendering
