Responsibilities

Prepare and issue Initial Disclosure packages for FHA, VA, and Conventional mortgage loans ensuring accuracy and compliance with state and federal regulations and SECU’s policies and procedures
Review loans and documents to determine if changes constitute a valid Change in Circumstance and issue Revised Disclosures ensuring accuracy and compliance with state and federal regulations and our partner Credit Union’s policies and procedures
Work in collaboration with Loan Officers, Processors, Underwriters, and other team members to address any discrepancies and ensure the accuracy and validity of the loan disclosures
Ensure all required disclosures are delivered to members within state and federal regulatory timeframes while maintaining the highest level of accuracy and member service
Maintain accurate records of all disclosures for each individual loan file
Responsible for completing tasks by required due dates to effectively manage their loan pipeline
Assist with appraisal delivery to members in a timely manner
Additional job-related projects and duties as assigned by management

Required

High School Degree or Equivalent Required
2 years of first mortgage loan experience, preferably disclosures experience
Knowledge of TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosures (TRID) guidelines, RESPA, HMDA, and CFPB requirements required
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to analyze and comprehend complex financial data with a high degree of accuracy
Excellent time management with the ability to prioritize workload based on department requirements and member needs while working in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
Ability to adjust quickly to shifting priorities
Ability to work flexible hours as needed
Must be able to remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds

Preferred

Knowledge of agency (FNMA/FHLMC/FHA/VA) guidelines and requirements preferred
Knowledge of First Mortgage operations and Mortgage Cadence Loan Origination System
