Sales Development Manager
Built is seeking a proven Sales Development Manager to lead both offshore and in-house SDR teams. The role focuses on building and optimizing high-performing SDR teams, ensuring effective execution of top-of-funnel activities while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
Manage, coach, and develop both offshore and in-house SDR teams
Build a culture of accountability, curiosity, and continuous improvement
Hire and onboard new in-house SDRs as the team scales
Deliver ongoing coaching on talk tracks, objection handling, messaging, time management, and outbound strategy
Build and optimize SDR systems, tech stack, and workflows that improve productivity and efficiency
Create clear processes for targeting, sequencing, qualifying, and handing off leads
Ensure high-quality data hygiene and reporting within CRM (Hubspot a bonus)
Measure and analyze individual and team performance, then implement changes that drive results
Partner with Sales and Marketing to refine ICP definitions, messaging frameworks, and campaign strategies
Drive continuous improvement of talk tracks, outreach approaches, and experimentation
Own top-of-funnel targets across both offshore and in-house teams
Develop creative and unique outbound strategies to build pipeline
Ensure quality control in prospecting, qualification, and meeting setting
Collaborate closely with Sales Leadership to align goals, feedback loops, and handoff processes
Share insights with Product and leadership that reflect customer sentiment and market trends
Qualification
Required
Prior experience managing a Sales Development or Business Development team within a SaaS company, preferably HR technology
Demonstrated success building SDR programs, including hiring, training, and scaling teams
Strong ability to design and implement SDR systems, tech stacks, and operational processes
Expertise with CRM systems (Hubspot a bonus) and modern Sales and GTM tools (ZoomInfo, Zoom, Slack, sequencing tools, etc)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with exceptional attention to detail
Analytical, metrics-driven mindset with the ability to diagnose performance issues and optimize output
Experience in start-up, entrepreneurial, and ambiguous environments
Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and manage distributed or offshore teams
Active team player, self-starter, and multitasker who can quickly adjust priorities
Must be at least 18 years old
Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States
Must pass a drug test and background check, to the extent permitted by law
Must be able to work at our Salt Lake City HQ at least 3-4x/week
