The role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production machinery to ensure smooth operations in a food manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production machinery and facility equipment

Perform preventative maintenance to ensure maximum equipment reliability

Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, making timely repairs to minimize downtime

Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals

Adhere to strict safety protocols, including Lock-out Tag-out and GMPs

Qualification

Troubleshooting machineryMechanical aptitudeElectrical aptitudeWelding skillsForklift certificationFood manufacturing experienceCommunication skillsAdaptability

Required

3+ years in troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of production machinery

Strong mechanical and/or electrical aptitude; welding, fabrication, machining, and electrical control skills

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs, operate a scissor lift, and obtain/maintain forklift certification

Ability to work independently, communicate clearly, and adapt to overtime or irregular hours as needed

Experience in food manufacturing or similar regulated production environments
