Responsibilities
Prepare federal and state income tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts
Assist in preparing annual and quarterly tax projections
Support senior team members in tax planning and research initiatives
Analyze financial statements and reports to ensure tax compliance and accuracy
Review financial data to verify compliance with all applicable tax regulations
Identify tax‑saving opportunities and recommend strategies to enhance profitability
Respond to tax-related inquiries, assisting clients during audits by tax authorities
Provide tax planning advice aimed at minimizing liabilities while maintaining compliance
Assist in the development and implementation of firm-wide tax policies and strategies
Keep up-to-date with federal, state, and local tax law changes
Ensure all tax filings and payments comply with regulatory standards
Proactively monitor legislation and advise on potential impacts to clients or the firm
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
2–3 years of experience in public accounting or tax advisory roles
Experience with corporate, partnership, trust, and individual tax returns
Strong knowledge of tax regulations and financial accounting principles
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency with accounting and tax preparation software
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
CPA (or working toward CPA certification) preferred
