The role involves software product support post-release and interaction with hardware design.

Responsibilities

Design and implement software of embedded devices and systems from requirements to production and commercial deployment
User interface design
Design, develop, code, test and debug system software
Review code and design
Analyze and enhance efficiency, stability and scalability of system resources
Integrate and validate new product designs
Support software QA and optimize I/O performance
Provide post production support
Interface with hardware design and development
Assess third party and open-source software

Qualification

C++Embedded software developmentAndroid developmentIOS developmentSoftware debuggingCustomer service skillsOrganized coding styleCommunication skills

Required

Programming experience in C++ and C
Experience developing software for embedded solutions
Some familiarity with development of Android and/or iOS applications
Familiarity with software configuration management tools, defect tracking tools, and peer review
Organized and concise coding style
Strong software debugging and troubleshooting skills
Ability to write software specifications with the help of sales and customer
Ability to work with software testers, ideally with experience writing unit tests or test plans
Ability to analyze and understand existing software
Strong communication skills (verbal and written), including the ability to talk to sales, customers, and testers
Exceptional customer service skills and patience
Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering/Computer Engineering/Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience

Preferred

Knowledge in mobile app development on an Android and/or iOS platforms would be beneficial
