Responsibilities

Handle a full case load and manage cases from beginning to end, including jury trials, with the assistance of another attorney and a paralegal

Qualification

Juris Doctor (JD)Active Colorado law licenseCivil litigation experienceCourtroom experienceLegal drafting proficiencyAnalytical skillsTrial experienceWritten communication skillsVerbal communication skillsProblem-solving skills

Required

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Active license to practice law in Colorado or UBE qualified to gain admission required
Minimum of 4 years of experience practicing law (including clerkships) with a focus on civil litigation and experience handling employment and/or disability litigation cases
Proven ability to take the reins and handle cases with minimal supervision
Must have courtroom experience
Proficient in legal drafting with a strong attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly
Strong analytical skills with the ability to think critically and solve problems effectively

Preferred

Jury trial experience is preferred
Solid trial experience preferred
