IS Salesforce Business Analyst Administrator
RAND Corporation is seeking a Salesforce Analyst/Administrator to enhance the efficiency of Salesforce across diverse user needs. This role involves analyzing practices, creating improvement strategies, and providing user support while ensuring compliance and system maintenance.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with Communications and External Affairs (CEA), the RAND Development Office, and Research and Analysis colleagues to ensure RAND is maximizing efficiency and capitalizing on the full set of features and benefits of Salesforce based on diverse user needs
Analyze current practices, including reporting and other business practices, and create improvement strategies and plans as appropriate
Implement and monitor practices as well as ensuring Information Security and regulatory compliance
Troubleshoot, user support, and administration of the Salesforce system, including access and training
Manage third-party applications, test changes, maintain system documentation, and research then implement best practices
Perform basic system maintenance, such as custom fields, dashboards, reports, flows, page layouts, and ensuring proper usage and integration of Salesforce as a part of a larger enterprise suite of applications
Responsible for ongoing data maintenance, importing, and strategies
Qualification
Required
Hands-on experience with Salesforce, with 6+ years of Salesforce Analyst and/or Administrator experience
Strong reporting background using reporting tools including standard Salesforce reporting functionality, Apsona Multi-Step Reports, Apsona standard ETL tool, and other third-party applications
Experience updating an existing Salesforce.com configuration to provide solutions for reporting, flow, and enhanced functions
Strong problem-solving skills with data and software applications
Strong analytic skills demonstrated in process mapping and re-engineering
High-level technical understanding of data systems and integrations
General understanding of Salesforce users' needs and how to help them make the most of the system
Proven experience leading collaborative efforts with complex business and system requirements across an enterprise composed of diverse business units
Excellent written and oral communication skills and judgement
Minimum High School diploma or GED
Either Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience with Salesforce at a nonprofit is required
Salesforce.com Administrator certification is required
Minimum 6 years of data management, business analysis, or information technology experience to include 6 or more years working with Salesforce
Requires an advanced level of knowledge and understanding of Salesforce and third-party applications
Preferred
In-depth knowledge of the Nonprofit Success Pack and implementation of custom fields, custom coding, and integrations
Previous experience in email marketing a plus
