Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
Manage insurance renewals, claims, and workers' compensation processes
Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and filings
Develop and implement financial strategies to support business objectives
Analyze settlement processes to optimize efficiency and accuracy
Collaborate with the leadership team to align financial goals with organizational strategy
Monitor and manage cash flow
Lead audits and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
Qualification
Required
Experience as a VP of Finance, Controller, or CFO
Transportation or trucking industry knowledge
In-depth knowledge of insurance processes, including renewals, claims, and workers' compensation
Strong leadership skills, as this role will manage a team of seven
Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance requirements
Expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and reporting
Preferred
Strong leadership and team management capabilities
Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
Knowledge of advanced financial software and tools
