NEOGOV is seeking part-time Pickleball instructors for the City of Loveland. The role involves providing quality instruction to participants of various age groups and skill levels, while ensuring a safe and engaging learning environment.

Responsibilities

Properly instruct registered participants

Develop, oversee and implement lesson plans, participate in required training

Inspect program environment and equipment to ensure safety, handle emergencies according to established procedures

Complete administrative tasks such as skill assessment of participants, attendance sheets, class evaluations and class descriptions for brochures

Provide make-up sessions as required

Performs other duties as assigned

Required

Must be a minimum of 16 years of age

Previous Pickleball experience, extensive previous participation in and sound knowledge of the activity required

Must obtain First Aid and CPR certifications within 60 days of hire

High School graduate or GED required

Must be a minimum of 18 years of age

1 year experience coaching/teaching Pickleball required

Extensive previous participation in and sound knowledge of the activity required

Proficient knowledge of Pickleball

Strong verbal communication skills

Work with a diverse group of people effectively and diplomatically

Strong customer service skills

Handle difficult situations involving participants with patience, good judgment, and with diplomacy

Must demonstrate competent organizational and planning skills

Frequent light to moderate physical effort that includes frequent standing or walking or maintaining arms and hands in the same position for repetitive tasks

Frequently works with light objects and light hand tools

Occasional exposure to hazards that are predictable or well protected against
