Responsibilities
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including vendor, service, NDA, and technology agreements
Partner with internal teams to align contracts with business goals while managing legal risk
Help refine and maintain contract templates and playbooks to support consistent, efficient operations
Provide practical guidance and training on contract policies and best practices
Support active and potential litigation, including coordinating with outside counsel, organizing documentation, and assisting with discovery
Conduct initial claim evaluations and contribute to case assessments and settlement strategies
Draft settlement and severance agreements
Assist with internal investigations and dispute resolution efforts
Help manage the company’s litigation tracking and reporting tools
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active bar admission
1–2 years of legal experience, ideally with exposure to commercial contracts or litigation (in-house or law firm)
Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills
A proactive, collaborative mindset and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
A passion for learning and a desire to build a long-term career in corporate law
Preferred
Ohio preferred or eligible to become licensed in Ohio
