Responsibilities
Define and execute the company’s data and AI strategy, aligning architecture, analytics, and governance with business and customer goals
Build and scale SaaS data pipelines that enable seamless data exchange between client systems, partners, and internal platforms
Lead the development of data ingestion, transformation, and distribution frameworks that support real-time decision-making and reporting
Partner with product and engineering to design data-driven features that enhance customer experience, insight, and automation
Ensure data interoperability through well-designed APIs, ETL pipelines, and secure data exchange protocols
Oversee data quality, governance, and compliance across distributed environments
Foster collaboration between technical and non-technical teams to ensure data informs action, not just analysis
Promote ethical AI and responsible data usage throughout the organization
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in data, analytics, or platform engineering, including 3+ years in leadership roles
Proven experience building and managing SaaS data ecosystems, including client-facing data integrations and APIs
Strong understanding of data ingestion, synchronization, and distribution patterns (REST APIs, webhooks, streaming, etc.)
Deep knowledge of cloud-native data architecture (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
Proficiency in SQL, Python, and modern ETL/ELT frameworks
Experience with data warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery) and data lake concepts
Strong understanding of machine learning, predictive analytics, or AI-powered insights
Excellent communication and storytelling skills; able to translate complex insights into business language
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative or technical field, or equivalent experience
