Responsibilities

Software development and support of the Missile Defense Agency’s (MDA’s) Ground-Based Mid-course Defense (GMD) program

Developing and implementing system updates that best meet changing customer needs for new and existing features

Collaborating with team members

Working in a cross-functional agile scrum team

Perform most typical Agile Product Owner (PO) responsibilities for the GWS GFC Threat State Algorithms and Analysis team

Making sure that developed features and related sprint stories contain the appropriate closure criteria

That they meet those criteria prior to be closed

Lead and perform technical tasks to support the development and evaluation of Algorithmic candidates addressing new capabilities in the tactical product

Help ensure algorithmic design has been properly evaluated prior to implementation in the tactical product

Current/Active Top Secret Clearance

Recent experience applying advanced mathematical concepts (Numerical Analysis, Linear Algebra, Probability/Statistics) to complex problems and solutions

High comfort level with the ADA programming language

Successful performance of root cause analysis of large complex software systems

High Comfort level using the Atlassian toolset (Jira/Confluence)
