Project Manager - Electrical Estimator

Responsibilities

Estimate, design, and manage high-value NEC-compliant electrical projects, ensuring profitability and client satisfaction
Develop and maintain strong client relationships to drive repeat business and trusted partnerships
Identify customer needs and deliver NEC-compliant solutions aligned with current and future electrical requirements
Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and engineers to align project goals and timelines
Perform accurate, timely estimates using Procore and present comprehensive proposals
Prepare and submit load calculations, drawings, and related documentation for AHJ approval as required
Negotiate with clients and suppliers to ensure fair outcomes and cost-effective solutions
Oversee all project elements including scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor oversight, and quality control
Ensure compliance with Z-Modular Power safety and quality standards while upholding ethical conduct

Required

5+ years of experience in electrical project management, preferably in commercial or industrial construction
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent trade/associate degree with relevant experience)
NEC Certification or deep working knowledge of NEC code
Proficient in estimating, budgeting, cost control, and construction documentation
Strong knowledge of electrical systems design, project lifecycle management, and compliance standards
Experienced in interpreting drawings, securing AHJ approvals, and managing regulatory submissions
Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills
Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and safety
Must be eligible to work in the United States
Regular travel to project sites is required
Ability to work on-site at construction projects for extended periods
Ability to navigate construction environments safely
Ability to manage administrative tasks, documentation, and software tools for project oversight
