Part-time Clinical Research Aide

Nationwide Children's Hospital is seeking a part-time clinical research aide to assist in the research consent of patients within the neuromuscular clinics. The role involves gathering and analyzing data, preparing reports, and performing administrative tasks under the supervision of clinical study coordinators.

Responsibilities

Obtains supplies and equipment needed for research projects and ensures they in proper working condition
Assists in laboratory analysis and data interpretation
Assists in the preparation and drafting of research proposals and reports, collecting and collating supporting data
Organizes and maintains laboratory records
Maintains clean laboratory area and equipment
Follows all safety protocols and procedures

Qualification

Required

High School graduate or current student
Interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills to interact efficiently with various audiences
Must be able to work on at least one of four blocks of time on Tuesday and/or Wednesday, in either the 8:00 AM to noon and/or the noon-4 pm blocks
Must be able to work a flexible schedule with occasional after hours support

Preferred

Two years accredited college coursework majoring in science
