Responsibilities
Provide mechanical engineering design of cryogenic and high pressure system
Ability to Key performance indicators include completing all contractual requirements on schedule, within budget
Ability to work in team environment
Application of Engineering Design Codes, including but not limited to piping system design code and pressure vessel design codes
Responsible for component selection
Perform thermodynamic and pipe flow calculations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 2 year experience or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering
Fluid transfer system knowledge (pump selection, pipe flow calculations, relief valve sizing)
Ability to read and develop P&ID
Familiarity with P&IDs
Familiarity with pump selection and pump operations
Proficiency with AutoCAD, Inventor, or SolidWorks or similar software
Required Travel: Up to 25%
Preferred
Masters's degree in Mechanical Engineering
Cryogenic system design, fabrication, and start-up experience
High pressure system design, fabrication, and start-up experience
A 5+ years of related experience in cryogenic or high pressure systems
Centrifugal and positive displacement pump system selection and integration
