Vice President of Patient Operations

Responsibilities

Develop and implement operational strategies to improve patient care delivery and satisfaction
Oversee daily patient operations, including admissions, discharge processes, and patient flow management
Collaborate with clinical leaders to ensure alignment of patient care protocols and operational practices
Manage budgets, staffing, and resource allocation to optimize operational efficiency
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and quality assurance programs
Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
Analyze operational data and patient feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
Partner with IT and other departments to leverage technology solutions that enhance patient operations

Required

Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Business Administration, or a related field
At least 10 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations or patient services
Demonstrated experience managing large teams and complex healthcare operations
Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, patient care standards, and quality improvement methodologies
Proven ability to develop and execute strategic initiatives that improve operational performance

Preferred

Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related discipline
Experience working in a multi-facility healthcare system or large hospital network
Certification in healthcare quality or management (e.g., FACHE, CPHQ)
Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and healthcare IT solutions
Experience leading change management and organizational development initiatives
