Responsibilities

Performs stormwater sampling and field analysis of stormwater outfalls at creeks and open water bodies
Completes construction runoff control inspections
Investigates illicit discharges
Updates GIS and stormwater permit data
Assists with stormwater permit compliance
Performs other directly related duties consistent with the role and function of the classification

Qualification

Required

Completion of one (1) year in an Environmental Science, Engineering or related program with course work in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, Geographic Information Systems, or Environmental Engineering
Possession of a valid Iowa driver's license
Requires satisfactory criminal, sex offender and if applicable driving record background checks

Preferred

Preferred experience with Microsoft Excel and ArcGIS
