Research Data Scientist II
Cleveland Clinic Foundation is seeking three Research Data Scientists to contribute to data analytics and modeling efforts. The role involves utilizing statistical techniques and programming skills to support research investigations and improve data processes.

Responsibilities
Utilize basic statistical, mathematical, and predictive modeling to build algorithms and perform data analytics
Utilize programing skills in languages such as SAS, SQL, SPSS, R, Python, MATLAB or similar
Perform basic data analysis to include data validation, investigation, and testing of hypotheses
Assist Principal Investigator with transforming data to support the investigation of research questions
Builds basic predictive models, and other mathematical or statistical models as needed by using modeling tools
Utilize process enhancement opportunities to improve the efficiency of data pulling, reporting, programming, operation and etc
Work to curate and process complex clinical and biological data
May communicate or present research findings
Identify technical issues and manages resolution for analytics programs
Qualification
Required
Must have demonstrated proficiency in SAS, SQL, SPSS, R, Python, MATLAB or similar
Must have Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or related Life Science degree such as Neuroscience, Psychology or Genetics, or Computational Linguistics
In the alternative, employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in degrees listed above and 2 years of experience conducting data analytics, math or statistical modeling or machine learning
