Southwest Autism Research & Resource Center (SARRC) is seeking a current college student, graduate student, or recent college graduate for a Development and Fundraising Internship. The intern will provide support to the Development Team, gaining experience in fundraising, community outreach, and nonprofit operations during the Spring Semester of 2026.

Responsibilities

Assist with coordination of Community Breakfast administrative needs

Assist with research on potential corporate, foundation, and individual donors

Assist Development team with stewardship activities

Maintain donor files and other development materials

Assist the development staff in entering data and support items into Raiser’s Edge NXT cloud-based database

Assist with mailings, filing, and special projects as needed

Attend department staff meetings (Wednesdays 10:30 a.m. – Noon)

Required

Currently seeking a current college student, current graduate student, or recent college graduate with a degree in or pursuing a degree in Non-profit Management, Communications, Marketing, or Business

Desire to learn more about fundraising and philanthropy operations

Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

Good interpersonal skills and attention to detail
