Contech Engineered Solutions is an industry leader in design and manufacturing, seeking a Structural Design Engineer to join their team. The role involves providing technical support, performing structural analysis, and collaborating with various teams to ensure the successful integration of Contech's products into projects.

Responsibilities

Provides project specific design services focusing on Contech’s precast products - including preparation of engineering drawings and calculations, review of project plans, developing project solutions, providing technical advice - to assist the engineering team with integration and acceptance of Contech’s products into site plans

Perform structural analysis of precast manholes and vaults

Collaborate effectively with in-house engineers, CAD Techs, Sales Team members, and external engineers in specifying and designing Contech's products. Offer technical support to the manufacturing team as needed to ensure the proper fabrication of products

Handle inquiries from the field sales team, outside consultants, and plant personnel by providing competent technical advice and input

Maintain engineering standards, policies, best practices, and procedures to contribute to risk management efforts. Assist in development of training programs and materials for Contech's products

Maintain knowledge and certifications in the civil/structural engineering field by attending industry trade shows, continuing education courses, and seminars, as necessary

Travel to job sites to provide technical support, consultation, and evaluation related to Contech's products
