Lead Business Intelligence Developer
Nationwide Children's Hospital is focused on improving healthcare through innovative information systems. The Lead Business Intelligence Developer will lead the analysis of current systems and manage the design, development, implementation, and support of system improvements.

Responsibilities
Consults with IS Management to evaluate and make recommendations for improvements
Proactively monitors and analyzes system performance to detect and resolve production system issues, and performing stringent system testing before implementing new solutions or system changes
Maintains systems to keep information and resources secure and safe from known vulnerabilities to include updating applications and systems with security patches and code updates, applying appropriate virus protection, and testing changes before placing into production environments
Ensures compliance with security and regulatory standards to assure data integrity and system survivability by developing and maintaining Disaster Recovery plans
Leads teams on large, complex projects involving cross-functional departments, high impact to customers, and large budgets
Provides leadership when working with other IS staff in functional or cross-functional teams to meet goals, objectives, and responsibilities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
Seven years of experience in IT
Preferred
Three years of healthcare IT experience
Supervisory experience
Project management experience
