Responsibilities
Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize standard contracts including NDAs, vendor and customer agreements, licensing agreements, and service contracts under supervision
Assist with monitoring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and corporate policies, including data privacy, employment, anti-corruption, and industry-specific regulations
Conduct legal research and provide timely, concise, and accurate legal advice to internal departments on routine matters, escalating complex issues to senior counsel as appropriate
Support corporate governance activities, including maintaining corporate records, drafting resolutions, and supporting board and committee meetings
Assist in assessing legal risks, developing mitigation strategies, and supporting litigation or dispute resolution matters, including document collection and liaising with external counsel
Assist in drafting, reviewing, and updating internal policies, procedures, and compliance guidelines to align with current legal standards and best practices
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Licensed to practice law in New Jersey (required)
1–3 years of experience as legal counsel, associate attorney, or equivalent role, preferably in a corporate setting or commercial law practice
Strong analytical, research, and organizational skills
Clear, concise, and professional written and verbal communication
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Proficiency with standard office and legal research software tools
Preferred
Korean/English bilingual a plus but not required
