Responsibilities

Assist teams and foster involvement of all associates in lean practices and efforts
Data collection, entry and analysis with improvement plans. May include, but not limited to productivity, total productive maintenance (TPM), downtime, scrap and change over initiatives
Leads 5S efforts, including planning, implementing and supporting plant floor and maintenance activities
Perform cycle time studies to create and validate production standards including standardized work
Process layout and material flow
Identify and implement cost and waste reduction activities
Recommend improvement to the manufacturing process
Assist quality lab in serial monitoring, failure analysis and support of quality related investigations

Required

Currently pursuing a degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
Basic understanding of electronic components and circuits
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
Familiarity with multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and basic lab equipment
Basic knowledge of AutoCAD
Basic programming skills (PLC, HMI, C/C++, Python, or embedded programming)
Strong Problem-solving Abilities
Good communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to learn and adapt quickly
Attention to detail and good organizational skills
Availability for the internship period (full-time)
Perform testing and troubleshooting of electronic circuits and components
Use lab equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, function generators, and power supplies
Assist in circuit design, simulation, and validation
Document test results, measurements, and observations
Calibrate electronic instruments and ensure proper functionality
Support prototype development and electronics experimentation
Work with sensors, actuators, and microcontroller-based systems
Program and test embedded control systems (e.g., Arduino, PLCs, robotics controllers)
Integrate mechanical, electrical, and software components into automated systems
Perform diagnostics on mechatronic assemblies and robotic equipment
Run simulations or modeling for motion, control, or system behavior
Perform preventive checks on electromechanical systems
Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on machines and equipment
Inspect motors, drives, sensors, conveyors, and control panels
Diagnose faults in mechanical or electrical systems and perform repairs
Perform equipment cleaning and labeling
Monitor machine performance and report irregularities
Replace defective components such as relays, PLC cards, power supplies, switches, or wiring
Follow safety procedures and maintain proper tool/equipment usage
Update maintenance logs, records, and service reports

Preferred

School projects, or prior hands-on experience preferred but not required
Knowledge of signal processing or control systems
