Hubbard House, Inc. is an organization dedicated to supporting individuals affected by domestic violence. They are seeking a Finance Specialist to assist with various accounting functions related to participant program services and housing expenses.

Responsibilities

Assist the Finance Team in a timely and accurate manner with accounting functions prioritizing participant program services/direct client services, and housing expenses to include purchasing, accounts payable, accounts receivable and journal entries and payroll

Qualification

Required

minimum of two years bookkeeping experience with computerized accounting system
at least one year of full-cycle payroll experience
Experience in Microsoft Office (or equivalent)
data entry
A valid driver's license and dependable transportation
Vehicle insurance must be maintained
Must meet eligibility requirements for Hubbard House, Inc. vehicle insurance coverage
Must successfully clear background screening: 1) a level-2 background screening which includes a criminal background check through the Department of Family and Children (DCF), Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE), and the National Sex Offender Registry (at a minimum); 2) a motor vehicle report (MVR) is also run against the Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV); and 3) a drug, alcohol, and TB screening
Must be able to produce proof of eligibility to work in the United States (E-Verify)
Must be able to read, write and speak English

Preferred

A.S./A.A. in accounting or finance
ABILA MIP, Paylocity, and other accounting systems experience
Experience in one or more of the following is a plus: sexual assault or domestic violence programs
bi-lingual capabilities
