OPERATIONS AUTOMATION & AI ENGINEERING ARCHITECT
Members Mobile Inc. is an innovative Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) focused on enhancing wireless services for credit unions. The Operations Automation & AI Engineering Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing automated workflows to improve operational efficiency and achieve business outcomes.
Responsibilities
Identify and resolve bottlenecks across logistics, billing, ticketing, and subscriber lifecycle
Build and deploy automation solutions using:
Python microservices and APIs
Agent-based orchestration frameworks (planning, retries, evaluation loops)
LLM-powered workflows and retrieval pipelines
Design strong observability into every workflow: logging, alerts, accountability
Ensure production readiness through shadow testing and controlled rollout processes
Integrate and orchestrate automated and AI-assisted actions across Members Mobile's operations ecosystem
Implement secure API consumption models and enforce least-privilege access
Partner with Data Engineering to optimize labeling and model evaluation
Embed compliance requirements into workflow design, including finance and telecom controls
Track value realization for each automation: cost savings, speed, accuracy gains
Maintain end-to-end documentation and version history within change-controlled environments
Prepare automations for scale: redundancy, rollback plans, and lifecycle management
Champion continuous improvement and operational excellence throughout the company
Qualification
Required
Proficiency in Python for scalable automation and service development
Strong grounding in API design, auth/security models, and orchestration patterns
Proven experience deploying LLM-powered automations into production environments
Retrieval and context-engineering fundamentals (KG/RAG)
Familiarity with event-driven architectures (e.g., Kinesis → Snowflake)
MLOps or model evaluation framework experience
AWS environment fluency: Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, Step Functions
Preferred
Telecom or fintech regulatory constraints (KYC, PCI, CALEA, CDR handling)
Billing and invoice validation logic for subscription services
Support automation strategies: classification, intelligent routing, knowledge assist
3PL coordination and SIM inventory fulfillment lifecycle
