Ariel Corporation is the largest manufacturer of separable reciprocating gas compressors worldwide. They are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Buyer to join their Supply Chain team, responsible for all purchasing activities including supplier management, price negotiation, and inventory management.

Manufacturing

Responsibilities

Identifying suppliers
Sourcing
Negotiating prices
Managing suppliers
Issuing purchase orders
Managing inventory levels
Conducting analysis of historical sales data
Collaborating with material teams
Working closely with cross-functional teams including production, engineering, and quality assurance

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business, Materials Management, or related field of study required
3-5 years of material management experience required
In depth knowledge of procurement and inventory management principles
Demonstrated analytical skills with knowledge of data analysis tools (I.E. Excel) and reporting
Excellent verbal & written communication
Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills

Preferred

Previous experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment
Previous experience in using SAP PLM, MM, and SD
