Project Manager, CCAMPIS Grant

Seminole State College of Florida is seeking a Project Manager for the CCAMPIS grant, responsible for developing and implementing programs to support student parents with childcare needs. Responsibilities

Facilitates the development of a strategic plan and initiatives for the CCAMPIS grant that comprehensively supports all college activities and utilizes creative methodologies to lead the implementation of the grant
Develops, implements, and assesses college initiatives for a childcare voucher program and support systems for student parents to ensure compliance with grant requirements
Develops and maintains relationships with the Early Learning Coalition of Seminole and childcare centers to establish and monitor the childcare voucher program
Meets regularly with program participants (low income and student parents) and coordinate monthly social events for participants as required by the grant
Creates and maintains parent support group, fostering community and connection among student parents
Determines priorities, collects and evaluates program data, prepares reports, and allocates resources in accordance with the grant requirements
Assists with selection, hiring, scheduling, and evaluating performance of part-time staff
Develops, monitors, and reports grant expenditures that are aligned with the fiscal integrity of the grant
Attends monthly project and partner meetings to provide updates, share progress, and coordinate planning initiatives
Performs other duties as may be required or assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree from a regionally or nationally accredited institution
Two years of experience in at least one of the following: college student advising/outreach or working with student populations similar to those in the CCAMPIS grant. (low income and student parents)
One year of budget management experience
Knowledge of community college philosophy and goals
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Excellent Microsoft Office Suite skills (Outlook, Word, Excel) and the ability to become proficient with videoconferencing applications, including Teams/Zoom
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced multi-priority environment
Ability to treat confidential information with sensitivity
Ability to successfully develop and manage relationships at all levels of the organization and influence a variety of stakeholders
Ability to create new and innovative solutions
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills as well as critical thinking ability
Good decision-making, organizational and planning ability, and ability to anticipate outcomes
Committed to working in a multicultural environment
Ability to exhibit a professional, courteous demeanor

Preferred

Master's degree from a regionally or nationally accredited institution
One year of team leader or supervisory experience
Experience managing or coordinating grants
