Regional Account Manager (LATAM)
Leprino is a leading manufacturer of mozzarella and lactose, seeking a Regional Account Manager (LATAM) to expand their presence and grow customer relationships across Latin America. The role involves new business development, account management, and extensive travel to maintain visibility and build trust with key customers.

Responsibilities
Lead a workload that is primarily new business development (50-60%) and secondarily account management (40-50%), expanding regional presence while supporting our key LATAM customers
Lead commercial execution from first conversation through long onboarding cycles, navigating internal approvals, regulatory requirements, and inventory constraints with patience and professionalism
Grow revenue inside existing accounts, identifying white space and developing joint business plans that drive sustainable volume
Represent Leprino at every level—from C-suite boardrooms to back-of-house kitchen demos—adjusting your communication style, presence, and approach to meet the moment
Travel extensively across your region (at least 50%) to maintain visibility, build trust, and understand market dynamics firsthand
Serve as the voice of the region internally, communicating competitive intelligence, regulatory shifts, product needs, and customer sentiment to Customer Quality Assurance, Product Development, Global Service, FP&A, and leadership
Report to and partner tightly with the Associate Director of LATAM Sales, aligning strategy, execution, and customer priorities during your first year
Influence internal processes by delivering accurate forecasts, managing expectations with customers, and helping Leprino navigate complex onboarding and inventory realities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
6–8 years of commercial experience in food, ingredients, dairy, or beverage sales, including significant new business development responsibility
Professional-level Spanish fluency (verbal and written) used routinely in business settings
Proven experience selling into LATAM markets, not domestic Hispanic market exposure
Demonstrated success growing revenue, defending margins, and managing complex customer relationships
Ability to travel internationally at least 50% of the time
A strong executive presence paired with the willingness to roll up your sleeves and sell in kitchens, warehouses, or informal environments
High comfort operating with long sales cycles, regulatory hurdles, and internal processes that require persistence and coordination
Preferred
Experience in food ingredients, dairy, proteins, or other commodities with long sales cycles
Past success managing large chain accounts in Central America and especially Mexico
Knowledge of import/export requirements, tariffs, and distributor models in LATAM
Experience supporting new product trials, kitchen demos, or operator-level training sessions
Familiarity with customer forecasting, pricing structures, and profitability analysis
Prior work inside a global company where inventory, allocations, or constrained supply required creative problem-solving
