Responsibilities
Develop, test, and maintain web applications using Python and Django
Design and implement RESTful APIs for seamless communication between services
Optimize application performance and scalability
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices
Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure smooth functionality
Maintain up-to-date technical documentation
Frequent use and application of technical standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques
Receives assignments in the form of objectives and establishes goals to meet the outlined objectives
Work is reviewed by supervisor/lead to measure meeting objectives
Provides solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors
Works under general direction on routine work. May receive detailed instructions on new projects or assignments
Work is reviewed for soundness of technical judgment, overall adequacy, and accuracy
Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action
Contributes to the completion of milestones associated with specific projects
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a Python Software Engineer. 3+ years
Strong proficiency in Django framework and Django REST Framework (DRF). 3+ years
Hands-on experience with RESTful API development and integration. 3+ years
Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., SQL) and ORM frameworks. 3+ years
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, GitHub/Bitbucket)
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure) is a plus
Understanding of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes) is an advantage
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
Preferred
Experience with Angular frontend technology is a plus
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Knowledge of testing frameworks such as PyTest or UnitTest
Prior experience in an Agile/Scrum development environment
