Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable AI/ML platforms using AWS services such as EC2, S3, EKS, RDS, and advanced networking
Support enterprise AI and data science initiatives by building robust, cost-efficient, and secure cloud environments
Support AI/ML and data-driven solutions by leveraging AWS's advanced offerings, ensuring scalable, secure, and efficient cloud environments
Identify opportunities to automate infrastructure, improve observability, and solve complex cloud challenges
Be the lead technical expert on a team of Cloud AI Platform Engineers
Support the Hilton Hybrid Cloud environment, including escalation support for operations and support teams, participate in on-call rotations, and work alongside other engineering teams to ensure adherence to Hilton standards and processes
Develop and support AI/LLM applications, including prompt engineering, context optimization, safeguards, testing, observability, costing, and MLOps integration

Required

Five (5) years of professional work experience in Technology or related field
Two (2) years working on cloud-based Data Science, Data Analytics, Data Engineering, Machine Learning, or Artificial Intelligence projects with Amazon Web Services
Familiarity with infrastructure as code, configuration management tools, Python, and proficiency in shell scripting
This is a hybrid role and would require to be near one of our three US office locations (McLean, Dallas, Memphis)
Travel up to 10%

Preferred

Bachelor's Degree, or Associate's Degree plus 6+ years of Technology related experience, or High School Degree/GED plus 12+ years of Technology related experience
Seven (7) + years of professional work experience in Technology or related field
Translate business requirements into precise technical specifications and unpack and communicated complex technical issues clearly
Experience with scrum, kanban or other project management methodologies
Expertise with security concepts around cloud technologies, data security, and network management
