Project Engineer III
Elevate Aircraft Seating is enhancing the passenger experience through innovative aircraft seat design and manufacturing. They are seeking a skilled Project Engineer responsible for engineering and scheduling for projects, ensuring compliance with customer and regulatory requirements, and overseeing the work of Design Engineers.

Responsibilities
Take ownership of assigned projects to ensure completion on time, on budget, and in compliance with regulations
Provide technical input to program management related to engineering components of the project for the creation of the project schedule; identify project elements and phases, sequence elements, and time estimates. For example, check program schedule to ensure integration with concurrent projects and validates resource availability (manpower, software, materials, systems, etc.)
Perform technical analysis, reviews specifications, and product design to develop a cost and time estimate
Monitor project progress and recommend schedule changes based on re-prioritization, materials availability, and as customer needs change
Assess impact of customer changes, time, cost, materials, and processes
Identify necessary tests that must be conducted during the engineering process. Monitor to ensure the completion of tests such as functionality, durability, and safety
Provide regular verbal or written updates based on KPIs and project status. Analyze data and recommend corrective action as needed
Monitor the work of Design Engineers for accuracy and technical competence; provide feedback as needed
Develop and maintain standard list of notes for use on 2D engineering drawings
May work with management and sales teams to review project proposals; identify and address potential issues as needed
Maintain a safe, secure and legal work environment, adhering to all Company policies and procedures
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Maintain and protect the confidentiality of the Company’s information and products
Perform other duties and projects as assigned or requested
Qualification
Required
A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline is required
0-2 years of engineering experience for Level I
2-5 years of engineering experience for Level II
5+ years of experience for Level III
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to lead a team comprised of multiple disciplines
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Expert level of experience with CATIA V5
Ability to communicate and present to a variety of stakeholders (e.g., customers, OEM)
Proficiency with MS Office applications
Preferred
MS Project
PLM system knowledge
AutoCAD familiarity
