Market Data Analyst

Alpine Electronics of America, Inc. is looking for a Market Data Analyst to support the development of a strategic lifestyle service strategy and competitive analysis. Responsibilities

Collect and analyze data on customer demographics, preferences, needs, and buying habits
Conduct surveys, focus groups, and interviews
Use tools like Google Analytics, Nielsen, or Statista to gather secondary data
Work with marketing to analyze customer data, identify opportunities to enhance the customer journey, and drive retention, loyalty, and lifetime value
Study competitors’ products, pricing, marketing campaigns, and market share
Identify gaps or opportunities in the market
Advise and use statistical software to analyze data sets
Identify trends, forecasts, and actionable insights
Study and summarize the voice of the customer findings
Prepare reports, dashboards, and visualizations to summarize findings
Present recommendations to management or clients to support decision-making
Predict future market trends, sales potential, and consumer behavior
Help companies plan product launches, advertising campaigns, and budgeting
Track marketing campaigns and product performance against goals
Suggest adjustments based on real-time data
This position could require travel to test market and to achieve objectives
Take ownership and report on assignments by the Director of New Business Development and Marketing or brand leadership
Take on projects; manage, lead, and execute key New Business Development initiatives, follow up with responsible parties, and make sure projects are completed on time
Build relationships with project teams and managers to help drive completion of high-quality project deliverables
Provide support toward the certification and ensure compliance with customer-required quality management systems (TISAX, TS16949, IATF, etc.)

Required

Bachelor's Degree in business, Marketing, Data Analytics, or related field from a four-year college or university; and two to three years related experience
Progressive experience in market intelligence, business strategy, consumer insights, or competitive analysis
Strong business acumen and ability to lead individuals/teams or cross-functional departments
Proven ability to lead strategic research projects and translate complex data into actionable insights
Expertise in breadth of consumer and market research tools and new methods, including advances in insights, AI & Machine Learning applications, and behavioral science
Expertise in market intelligence tools and data visualization platforms (e.g., IRI, Power BI, Tableau, Nielsen, etc.)
Proficiency in CRM platforms and customer data analysis
Exceptional storytelling, communication, and presentation skills with experience delivering insights to executive audiences
Demonstrated experience in team leadership or mentorship
Knowledge of customer experience, strategy development, and consumer/market/shopper/brand/innovation frameworks and tools
Valid U.S. driver's license required
Valid U.S. Passport required

Preferred

Familiarity or experience in emerging trends such as EV mobility, metaverse, and portable audio devices is a plus
Experience in a Marketing Agency and/or Consulting company with a focus on job requirements is a plus
Experience in SaaS or Software as a Service business model is recommended
Familiarity with advanced analytics techniques (e.g., predictive modeling, clustering, regression analysis), hands-on proficiency is a plus
