Responsibilities
Answering incoming calls and respond to client’s emails
Serves as a client contact for day-to-day needs and answers standard client questions to improve the client experience
Manages and records all activities in the workflow system to ensure timely follow up by client, carriers and client team
Complete assigned weekly client group eligibility reports
Troubleshoot assigned issues arising in day-to-day operations of client accounts
Completion of assigned audits of client accounts and research discrepancies
Management of client group eligibility through the online benefits enrollment system
Processing and data entry of client qualifying events, newly hired employees, terminations, and evidences of insurability as required by the client’s scope of services
Administration of clients’ annual open enrollment
Assist with other department responsibilities as needed
Qualification
Required
Minimum of high school diploma is required
Excellent organizational and customer service skills
Must be able to integrate seamlessly into a working team environment
Must be able to multitask
Must be detail oriented
Must be able to self-check for accuracy
Effective and clear communication skills, both verbal and written
Excellent computer skills to include intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel and Outlook
Previous experience in benefits insurance, human resources, or a related field
Current Life & Health insurance license
