Responsibilities
Design, implement, and monitor backup solutions for on-prem and cloud environments
Perform regular backup validation and disaster recovery testing
Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans
Schedule and deploy OS updates, security patches, and firmware upgrades across servers and endpoints
Maintain version control and documentation for all updates
Generate and maintain SOX compliance reports for IT systems
Ensure adherence to internal and external audit requirements
Adhere to Change Management policies and procedures
Collaborate with vendors for procurement, support, and issue resolution
Communicate effectively with internal teams and management regarding system status, risks, and improvements
Qualification
Required
Applicants must have the ability to work in the US as Latham does not sponsor Visa's
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Experience: 3+ years in systems engineering or IT infrastructure roles
Hands-on experience with backup technologies (e.g., Veeam, Commvault, Azure Backup)
Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux OS patching and update processes
Familiarity with SOX compliance and audit practices
Experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and Active Directory administration
Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation, reporting, and system management tasks
Skills: Proficiency in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and virtualization technologies
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
Strong communication and vendor management skills
Preferred
Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
