Responsibilities
Full-Stack Development: Program well-designed, testable, efficient code using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Angular, JavaScript, and related technologies
End-to-End SDLC Ownership: Execute full lifecycle development including design, coding, testing, documentation, deployment, and maintenance
System Integration: Integrate software components into fully functional systems and ensure cross-platform interoperability
Maintenance & Enhancements: Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications; ensure software remains current and high performing
Testing & Quality: Analyze requirements, develop automated tests (JUnit, Cucumber), and support verification and QA processes
Security & Compliance: Apply security and privacy principles into every stage of software development
Documentation: Develop flowcharts, diagrams, technical documentation, and solution layouts
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, data teams, project managers, and business users to deliver elegant, scalable solutions
Team Collaboration & Code Reviews: Actively participate in code reviews, mentor peers, and promote best practices and reusable patterns
Continuous Improvement: Identify technical debt, recommend improvements, and contribute to elevating the team’s engineering standards
Qualification
Required
7+ years of experience in full-stack software development
Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, REST, NoSQL, Angular, CSS, JSON, HTML, JavaScript
Experience with Oracle or SQL Server databases
Familiarity with MQ, Kafka, and cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, or AWS)
Strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle
Knowledge of application frameworks, containerization, and cross-platform interoperability
Ability to review test plans, test data, and automated testing suites
Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
Preferred
Experience in the securities or financial services industry
Exposure to C#
