Responsibilities

The Research Associate will support the operation, maintenance, and data quality assurance of SECOORA’s High Frequency Radar (HFR) network in east-central Florida
Responsibilities include monitoring radar system performance, processing and validating surface current data, assisting with troubleshooting hardware/software issues, and contributing to data analysis/research and reporting for regional ocean observing initiatives

Qualification

PhD in Environmental ScienceTechnical skillsOceanographic data familiarityCollaborative work

Required

PhD in Environmental Science or related field
Strong technical skills
Familiarity with oceanographic data
Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, students, and external partners to ensure reliable data delivery for research and operational applications
