Client Accounting Specialist

Crete Professionals Alliance is a rapidly growing accounting firm that empowers small to mid-market firms with innovative workforce solutions. The Client Accounting Specialist will manage client accounts, perform detailed bookkeeping tasks, and ensure the accuracy of financial records while maintaining client confidentiality.

Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal procedures
Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process
Maintain an accurate record of financial transactions by establishing accounts and posting transactions
Reconcile bank and credit card statements
Process accounts payable and receivable
Manage and update client accounts
Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for clients
Assist clients with inquiries related to their accounts and transactions
Serve as the main point of contact for client inquiries and issues
Provide clients with clear and accurate information regarding their accounts
Build & maintain strong client relationships through effective communication & problem-solving
Identify opportunities for process improvements in bookkeeping and client account management
Collaborate with team members to refine accounting procedures and systems

Qualification

Required

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or a similar role
Proficiency in bookkeeping software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
Experience in client account management is a plus
Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or other relevant certifications are a plus
