Responsibilities

Set up, calibrate, and operate test equipment (manual, semi-automated, or fully automated) according to test procedures and standard operating procedures
Perform functional tests on engineered pipe supports to verify that units satisfy all design and engineering requirements
Visually inspect engineered pipes support to determine the general mechanical structural condition of components and their supports by verifying parameters erosion, including settings, and physical displacements; and detect discontinuities and imperfections such as loss of integrity at bolted or welded connections, loose or missing parts, debris, corrosion wear, or erosion, including examinations for conditions that could affect operability or functional adequacy of snubbers, constant load, spring type and rigid supports
Prepare inspections reports for submittal to Customer and/or Project Manager. Reports to include recorded positions, findings and recommended corrective actions

Required

A bachelor's degree in relevant technical / engineering disciplines (e.g. Electrical, Physics, Computer Science, etc.)
Ability to read isometric drawings
Good computer skills: data entry, possibly working with test automation software
Excellent attention to detail. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Physical stamina: ability to stand for long periods, lift specified weights (often 25-30 Lbs. depending on role) and work in varying environmental conditions as needed
