They are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to join their security operations team, responsible for monitoring security alerts, investigating incidents, and implementing security principles across the organization.

Responsibilities

Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts from EDR/MDR platforms
Investigate and triage security incidents, performing root cause analysis and recommending remediation steps
Develop and maintain Incident Response (IR) Plans and After Action Reports (AAR)
Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate risks
Implement and enforce Zero Trust security principles across the organization
Collaborate with internal IT teams and external vendors to ensure security posture aligns with industry best practices
Assist in compliance efforts (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS benchmarks)
Provide actionable recommendations for risk mitigation and security improvements
Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies

Required

Applicants must have the ability to work in the US as Latham does not sponsor Visa's
Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
3–5 years of experience in cybersecurity operations or similar role
Hands-on experience with EDR/MDR solutions (e.g., CrowdStrike, Arctic Wolf)
Hands-on experience with Zero Trust frameworks (e.g., Zscaler)
Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux environments
Experience in incident investigation, penetration testing, and risk management
Familiarity with SIEM tools, threat intelligence platforms, and vulnerability management
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting and documentation
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS)
Familiarity with cloud security principles (Azure, AWS)

Preferred

CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+
Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) or OSCP
GIAC certifications (e.g., GCIH, GCFA)
