Responsibilities

Responsible for quality audits and education for Hospice CMS and ACHC guidelines and other related quality measures

Serves as an expert resource and assumes primary accountability for assigned hospice quality audits

Performs assigned audits and analyzes the results

Provides summary of audit results to hospice management team

Educates staff and extended care facilities on Hospice guidelines

Required

Licensed Registered Professional Nurse (RN) - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)

College Diploma: Nursing (Required)

Ability to analyze data and educate staff on areas of improvement

Two years healthcare experience

Home health or hospice experience preferred

Strong knowledge of Medicare and quality measures
