Responsibilities

J&C engineer executes technical processes of determining the export classification (USML or CCL) of F-35 aircraft hardware, which is a critical enabler for export/import of shippable parts and tooling for F-35 Development, Production, and Sustainment business units

Coordinates with other engineering SMEs, supply chain management, and/or Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) to understand hardware: form, fit, function, and any other system-related knowledge required to perform the J&C determination

Collaborate with ECC Export Portfolio Lead and other ECC team members and stakeholders on work assignments/projects

Work with internal and external export authorization customers, users, and stakeholders in developing the required export authorization coverage for air system deliverables

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering

Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively, while managing multiple tasks/priorities in a dynamic environment

Preferred

Demonstrated experience with military customers and execution of complex program activities

Understanding of International Export/Import Laws and Regulations (e.g., ITAR/EAR)

Willing to learn new information and horizontally integrate with disciplines outside of their own to work through complex issues

Experience with JSF Data Library (JDL), Product Data Manager (PDM), Logistics Data Manager (LDM), Advanced Technical Logistics Application System (ATLAS), Parts Classification & Management system (PCM)

Project Management and/or Systems Engineering Experience
