Responsibilities
This role will also cover other security areas to include Personnel Security, and Visitor Control and the candidate will conduct security indoctrinations, annual refresher briefings, and debriefings of personnel and will utilize Access Commander, internal databases, and DoD databases on a daily basis
Candidate shall provide security support to all teammates within the Facility at the discretion of the Security Manager
Conduct random package and bag inspections at facility entrances
Creating employee and non-employee badges
Completing citizenship verification and fingerprints for employees and pre-hires
Processing need-to-know forms and updating access lists
Assist with classified document control/accountability of classified media shipped and received
Assist with implementing and tracking Security Education and trainings
Coordinate with visitor hosts and advise them of site visit procedures and security requirements
Qualification
Required
Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
Experience with Microsoft
Experience in Customer Service
Experience in data entry or database management
Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
DoD Clearance: Secret
Preferred
Familiarity with VMS, DISS, Access Commander and CCure
