Responsibilities
Design electrical systems including lighting, and power
Develop calculations for lighting systems and associated controls
Develop electrical system design calculations
Prepare detailed design documents in REVIT
Perform QA/QC design work
Coordinate with Owners and Architects
Coordinate work with other disciplines
Complete code compliance research
Oversee and provide guidance to junior engineers
Assist in the procurement of new work, including the development of client relations
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 6 years electrical design experience as registered engineer
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
Proficient in Revit and MS Office
Experience with complex institutional projects
Knowledgeable with codes, standards, and design guidelines
Excellent work ethic and attitude
Strong Interpersonal communication skills, combined with organizational skills, the ability to plan, balance and prioritize work
Ability to lead a team as well as work as part of a team
Preferred
LEED experience, certification is desired
Professional Engineer license, PE preferred
