Originates mortgage loans

Calls on realtors and builders

Takes mortgage loan applications and assists the processor with the applicant if needed

Stays current on mortgage products and rates

Interviews customers to assess their individual needs

Figures Good Faith Estimates

Completes exception report for each individual correspondent

Cross sells bank products or guides the customer to new accounts or other loan opportunities

Sets goals for making referrals to contacts in the community

Has helpful attitude with co-workers and customers

Employee has prompt and regular attendance

Strives to improve the efficiency in his/her work area through cost savings

Performs other duties assigned by supervisor

Completes all training assigned to HR, IT, Compliance, BSA, and supervisor on a timely basis

Follows IT Security Policies and Procedures, including the diligent reporting of phishing emails

Qualification

Required

High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software

Sales ability

Knowledge of RESPA and other regulations pertaining to mortgage lending

Product knowledge of investor mortgage products

Tact and public relations expertise
