They are seeking a Part-Time Remote Associate Attorney to assist in business and corporate transactional law, including contract drafting and client consultations.
Law Practice
Responsibilities
Assisting and supporting senior attorneys in negotiating, drafting, reviewing, and revising contracts for complex legal matters
Conducting initial client consultations
Working with clients on day-to-day advice and inquiries
Managing and facilitating client communication and legal projects
Performing administrative and management functions in relation to all aspects of projects
Preparing and drafting legal documents (entity formations, contracts, etc.)
Continuously building a current working knowledge of laws and regulations relevant to our clients
Able to conduct research regarding applicable topics and regulations
Communicating with various agencies and filing of necessary documentation
Monitoring communications from clients at all times
Qualification
Required
Experience in Business and Corporate Transactional Law, including entity formation and governance, enterprise development, contract drafting/negotiation, and general corporate work
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Advanced comfort with technology, cloud-based platforms, and remote-work systems
Excellent communication, research, writing, and organizational skills
Positive, professional, and solutions-oriented attitude
Ability to manage multiple matters and shifting priorities
Willingness to learn and take on developing areas of law
Ability to work flexible or extended hours as needed for international clients
Minimum of 1-3 years of experience practicing law
Juris Doctor Degree from an Accredited Law School
Active member in good standing with the California Bar Association
Preferred
Experience in trademark and intellectual property, entertainment, real estate and development, permitting and licensing, or international matters
