Responsibilities

Responsible for the set-up, calibration, and operation of machines used in production processes
Work from verbal or written instructions, diagrams, or models
Inspect machining operations and finished products against specified tolerances using precision measuring tools
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning
Set up and operate a production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
Use computer-controlled equipment to select, position and secure automatic or semi-automatic machines
Control and adjust machine settings to complete routine tasks according to specifications
May make calculations and assist with numeric controlled programming
Perform other duties as assigned

Required

Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience

1 year machine operator experience
