RTC Aerospace is a 60-year-old aerospace manufacturer specializing in complex, high-tolerance parts. They are seeking a CNC Grinder I who will be responsible for operating CNC machines, inspecting parts, and ensuring quality control in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Working a Full-time, onsite position at our Chatsworth, CA location

Start and observe machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, and informs lead person of discrepancies

Follow requirements on blue prints and work orders this includes but not limited to Lapping parts

Thoroughly inspect first part run

Complete assigned tasks within required timeframes, with minimal supervision

Recognize production problems and inform supervisor

Understanding of basic machine language

Verify conformance of finished work piece to specifications using standard measuring tools

Read and interpret manufacturing and engineering drawings

Perform miscellaneous duties in the machine shop as directed

Follow all safety guidelines established by the Company, including proper use of equipment and procedures

Performs other duties as assigned
