Responsibilities

Leads in delivery with our customers in billable roles as Solution Architect, Delivery Solution Lead and/or in SME roles within Market’s portfolio
Takes on strategic roles with customers as a subject matter expert, or leads teams in outcome based client delivery
Engages as a leader within a discipline within the Build Capability, such as Software Engineering, Solution Ownership, Quality Engineering, Intelligence Engineering, Platform Engineering
Partners with Industry aligned client partners and sales executives to identify and pursue potential opportunities related to technology-led outcomes
Individually acts as a Solution Lead or SME in pursuit process, identifying appropriate SME from broader capability team as needed
Leads or supports workshops and whiteboarding solutioning activities with clients as part of sales cycles
Participates in multi-capability solutioning and client outcome based selling motions with GTM team, at the direction of the GTM lead
Works to proactively ignite awareness and generate demand for Capability and related client outcomes in the market, working closely with GTM leadership to execute GTM strategy
Researches client portfolio needs and adjusts focus to topics of resonance. Focuses on building technical client relationships at target and active client portfolio
Supports Slalom-led thought leadership events, in context of Capability and related Client Outcomes, which can include speaking and publishing opportunities
Leads architects and engineers through reporting relationships to guide them in their careers and skill development
Acts as mentor to other practitioners in area of Capability working to serve Market’s portfolio
Participates in performance management via providing Feedback on Capability team members assigned to Market’s pursuits and delivery
Works with GTM leader and broader Capability leadership to contribute to Capability specific growth and cost projections
Works to achieve forecast against revenue targets
Works proactively with Market and Regional or Americas Capability leadership to identify when a Capability is unhealthy at Market level to adjust strategy

Required

Extensive experience working with product engineering organizations in either industry or professional services
Leading cross-discipline teams delivering with Agile methodologies
Depth in multiple disciplines such as Agile / Product Ownership, Software Engineering, Quality Engineering, DevOps, Machine Learning and Experience Design
Understanding of how AI is changing the software development industry
Experience with techniques such as Site Reliability Engineering
Experience delivering engineering projects using scale teaming models and partners
Ability to work with customers and teams around the outcome they are trying to achieve
Experience working with AWS, Microsoft, Google and other top partners in a sales or delivery motion
Demonstrates forward looking strategic and critical thinking
Builds relationships and opportunities to proactively build pipeline
Acts as an external speaker at events
Strong ability to collaborate across different teams and organization
Ability to live within the Missouri Valley market
